Set on a 300-yard stretch of sand, it is the largest hotel in South Beach, and only minutes away from the Miami's glamorous nightlife.
Accommodations: Guest rooms and suites are housed in the newer main tower, and in the older, but completely renovated St. Moritz. All are air-conditioned and equipped with queen or king sized beds with pillow-top mattresses and 300-thread-count linens, flat screen TV, in-room iPod, mini-bar, in-room safe, phone with voicemail, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, robe, and bath amenities. Premium rooms have balconies. Suites and Rotunda are the most spacious, and have additional amenities. Views are of the ocean or downtown Miami. NOTE: Pets are welcome.
Dining & Entertainment: Open for lunch and dinner, Emeril's showcases the award-winning cuisine of chef and TV personality Emeril Lagasse. Guests dine on fresh local seafood prepared with a touch of Cajun flavor and paired with an extensive wine list. There is also a nightly tasting menu. Preston's serves American/New World cuisine a la carte for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast buffets, and a Friday Italian buffet are also served. Hemisphere lounge has the most extensive martini menu in all of Florida, with over 240 possibilities. Nautilus is a poolside bar that serves drinks, snacks, and informal fare. For coffee and baked goods, head to the Sobe Coffee Bar, open from 6:00am-12:00pm.
Recreation: The Elmis Spa is among the largest (if not the largest) in Miami, with 40,000-square-feet, 16 treatment rooms, side-by-side couples massages, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, a co-ed calming lounge, and a menu of 24 specialized treatments, including the Elmis Six Senses, a relaxing combination of sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, and perception.
