Scuba and snorkeling are available on-site, with instruction. A half-mile away you’ll find the town of Frederiksted, home to many interesting shops and restaurants. This hotel caters to singles, couples, and newlyweds, and it also hosts wedding ceremonies. Accommodations: On arrival, you’re greeted with a complimentary beverage and seasonal fresh flowers in your room. Accommodations have tile floors and tropical decor, and vary between rooms, suites, studios, and villas, with options to fit most budgets and travel styles. All are air-conditioned and have kitchens or kitchenettes and private baths. Dining & Entertainment: Daily breakfast is included in your stay and is served seaside every morning. It includes coffee, tea, juice, and an assortment of freshly baked breads. Open for lunch and dinner, and brunch on Sundays, the Beach Cafe has a casual, open-air ambience and faces the sea. New food and beverage specials are served every day. Musicians, both local and from abroad, perform Saturday nights, specializing in everything from calypso and jazz, to Latin guitar and classical flute. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and can help with local dining and shopping recommendations.
Recreation: St. Croix is nearly completely surrounded by a barrier reef, with sights that include Buck Island Reef National Monument, the only underwater national monument in America, and Salt River, where Christopher Columbus landed in 1493. A dive shop is located on-site for scuba equipment rentals and diving excursions, and a professional staff of instructors is on hand for novice divers. There are 2 freshwater swimming pools with sundecks. Local excursions include golf, sunset cruises, kayaking, and horseback riding on the beach and through the rainforest.
