Accommodations: The air-conditioned rooms and suites have a coffee/tea maker, a mini-bar, cable TV, in-room movies, a DVD player, a CD player, a radio, an in-room safe, an iron and an ironing board, bathrobes and slippers, and a hairdryer. There are laundry, housekeeping, and wake-up services. Accommodations offer mountain and garden, partial ocean, and ocean views. NOTE: Most guest quarters do not have a balcony, but all have "magic windows" that allow for wonderful views as well as privacy.
Dining & Entertainment: At Cafe Hanalei overlooking the bay, sip POG (passion fruit-orange-guava) with your made-to-order omelet at the buffet breakfast, bring your appetite for a delicious lunch, and find an intimate spot on the torch-lit terrace for a romantic dinner. The cafe also hosts a popular Sunday champagne brunch. Dine alfresco at the Beach Restaurant & Pool Bar, and stop by La Cascata for a fusion of Mediterranean flavors, fine seafood, and fresh island produce. The Living Room prepares tropical libations and specialty martinis. Its sushi and sashimi menu makes mouths water, and there's live Hawaiian entertainment. The twice-weekly luaus present authentic Hawaiian dishes prepared in a traditional imu pit, expressive hula dancers, and rhythmic music. Choose the beach, the garden, or an oceanfront terrace for a romantic 5-course dinner, including a private wait staff, fresh flower leis, and champagne. Room service is available 24 hours. The Flavors of Island Music campaign celebrates the island's many musical entertainment styles.
Recreation: Sunbathe and take in stunning bay views by the infinity-edge pool, and relax in 3 Jacuzzis. The beach concierge can help arrange a scuba diving excursion, an ocean tour, and more. The spa delivers restorative treatments featuring Aveda products. Engage a personal trainer, take to the aerobics dance floor, and swim the lap pool at the fitness center. The Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed Prince Course is ranked #39 on Golf Digest's "America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses/2007-08." The Makai Course is three 9-hole courses in one: the Ocean Nine, the Lakes Nine, and the Woods Nine. Perfect the spin on your serve on 6 Plexi-pave tennis courts. The Keiki Aloha Club, for ages 5 to 12, oversees flower lei-making, hula dancing lessons, and more. Children also have fun in the wading pool.
